About Me

As software engineer and project leader for 10 years, I used to make the same security mistakes every day. I saw a presentation on Cross-site scripting and SQL Injection and realized that all the code I have ever written was full of vulnerabilities. I needed advice and guidance so I read Writing Secure Code which convinced me even more that the software I am writing was actually hurting my customers more than benefiting them.

I turned then to OWASP and started Ottawa, Canada Chapter trying to help spread the word for security, learn and teach others.
